Things To Do

You know those moms that pretty much let their kids run wild and assume that somehow they'll learn their colors, numbers, shapes, reading, writing, arithmetic... Yup, I'm one of those. Oh, occasionally I'll take advantage of a teaching/learning moment, but I definitely don't carve out specific time to work on letters or rhyming. Some moms do. This mom don't. I send Ben to preschool and that's about it.

So, you can only imagine how surprised I was this morning to see some additional scrawling on my list of things to do.

It made me smile and touched my heart on a few levels. Thank heavens for children that remind me of the most important things on my "to-do" list...
