When it came time to clean up, we just shoved toys into any bin they would fit in, threw said bins under the bed and in the closet, so our children could sleep while we continued to hang out.
This morning, I decided to "fix" the "clean" bedroom. (I'll tell you about my labeled bins and general organizational policies another day)
Little did I know the surprise Elmo had waiting for me:

I thought it was a "play egg" from the play food set that we have, until I saw the goobers. Now my toy-fix-up-job has turned into a sanitizing project. Joy.
Also, I think I need to say that I'm 110% sure the egg-tabulous surprise is brought to you by the letter "A" and the number "2" (I thought I noticed a missing egg yesterday, but dismissed it as only something a crazy lady would think)
So I am assuming that the letter "A" is for AWESOME! and the "2" is for that is 2 funny!
ReplyDeleteOh, she's going to keep you hoppin:)
ReplyDeletehahahahaha. I am ONLY laughing because been there done that. I don't even organize the toys anymore, and just SHOVE them into any bin that has a cm of room to shove- and I am constantly finding half eaten apples, brocolli, sucked on/sticky fruit snacks, etc. Have fun cleaning :) (at least you got a night chatting with a friend, totally worth it).
ReplyDeleteHey...at least the shell was still intact. Better to "come across it" then have to "hunt for where that dang smell is coming from!"
ReplyDeleteAdorable and 2 times as fun then most! I am having A2 withdrawals...come soon!!
Was that your 2 year old or mine? Oh my word! Had a blast with you all. Can't wait to hang out in UTAH. Miss ya already.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought my "M", #2 as well was bad... guess it could be worse!
